Virtual Tours
Whether you're in the classroom or teaching remotely, SECCA offers live virtual tours and programs that can be tailored to fit your needs and the needs of your students.
From quick 10-minute looks at contemporary art to 60-minute interactive programs that dive into how artists incorporate science and engineering into their work, our virtual programs are ideal for all disciplines and grade levels.

Virtual Tour Options
Our virtual tours are fully customizable and can be tailored to fit your needs and the needs of your students. We also offer a variety of pre-built tours that approach NC Common Core Standards through the lens of contemporary art.
On-Site Guided Tours
For the safety of our visitors and staff, we are not offering in-person guided tours at this time.
On-Site Self-Guided Tours
While we are not offering guided tours, you are more than welcome to bring your students to experience our exhibitions in-person. Groups will be given a brief introduction and orientation, and then teachers may guide their class through the SECCA galleries. SECCA will provide activity sheets and exploration prompts for our exhibitions upon request.
Learn More About Virtual Tours
Interested in a virtual tour, but not sure what it's all about? In this free, interactive session, teachers will experience a portion of a virtual tour, learn about the technology needed, and get tips for success. Teachers will leave the session with their questions answered and ready to book a virtual tour for their students. These informational sessions are offered on Wednesdays at 3 pm by appointment.
