Its material form – pages, ink, glue, and string – captivates is, even – and perhaps especially – in this digital age. These Winston-Salem-based artists explore how books encapsulate information and emotion, probing what the medium of paper can do and enhancing our understanding of books as artistic, political, and economic objects.
